Services, not off-the-shelf goods
Dorunafeli provides tailored professional services such as product discovery, design, prototypes, and delivery support. We do not sell physical merchandise or standard downloadable products through this site. This page uses the word “returns” only because project changes deserve the same clarity people expect from a purchase.
Before work begins
Each engagement is confirmed in writing with a scope, fee, schedule, payment plan, and initial working assumptions. If you need to change or cancel before work begins, write to [email protected] promptly. We will confirm whether any preparatory time or non-refundable third-party cost has already been committed and describe the available options clearly.
Changing a route during a project
New evidence should change a product, but it can also change the amount or nature of the work. When a request expands beyond the agreed scope, we will explain the consequence for timing, fee, or trade-offs before undertaking it. We do not treat an exploratory conversation as approval for additional billable work; a written confirmation is required.
Pausing or stopping work
Either party may request a pause. We will document work completed, decisions made, files available for handoff, and any scheduled commitments that need to be resolved. If a client ends an engagement after work has begun, fees for completed work and any agreed non-cancellable expenses remain payable. We will provide the agreed handoff materials once outstanding amounts are settled.
Refunds and fee adjustments
Because each engagement is custom, a refund is evaluated against the signed agreement and the work actually performed. If Dorunafeli has not started the relevant phase and no non-refundable costs were incurred, we will ordinarily return the unused portion of a prepayment. If a billing error occurs, we will correct it promptly. Where a concern relates to quality or scope, we will first review it in good faith against the written acceptance criteria and seek a practical remedy.
Third-party costs
Some projects may require user-research incentives, travel, hosting, licenses, or specialist services. Such costs are only incurred with agreement and are governed by the project agreement. They are generally not refundable once committed to the third party, even if the studio engagement later changes.
How to ask for help
Send the project name, invoice reference if relevant, and a concise description of the issue to [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge project-support requests within two working days and will tell you who is handling the next step.
